Diaper Bag Essentials From an Atlanta Newborn Photographer
As a mom of five, I can definitely call myself a veteran when it comes to packing a diaper bag. I've learned what was unnecessary for my family and what things were absolute must haves. This list is just a guide on what you can pack, but make sure to tailor to your families needs!
Diapering Essentials:
Diapers:Â Pack at least 5-7 diapers, depending on the length of your outing.
Wipes:Â A travel pack of baby wipes for quick and easy cleanups.
Diaper Cream or Ointment:Â To prevent or soothe diaper rash.
Feeding Essentials:
Formula or Breast Milk:Â Carry pre-measured formula in a dispenser or a bottle of expressed breast milk if you're not breastfeeding directly. If formula feeding with powder, make sure you have bottled water to mix the formula.
Bottles:Â Bring one or two clean bottles and nipples.
Burp Cloths:Â For cleaning up after feeding.
Clothing:
Onesies and Extra Outfits:Â Pack one or two extra sets of clothing in case of spit-ups or diaper leaks.
