Winter Style Guide

With the holidays quickly approaching, you may be rushing around to have your family photos done. We have sold out of our holiday mini sessions, and I've had quite a few people request a style guide for their sessions. Below you will find some do's and dont's to dressing successfully for your session. DO- Dress to Impress: I say this with the utmost respect, but if you're paying hundreds of dollars to have your photos done, you want them to look their best. You want your hair nicely done, and I'm not saying go and spend money to have it professionally done for the day, but don't just throw it on top of your head. Make sure nails are clean, or fully painted. Please no chipped nails.

DON'T- Matchy Matchy: Please no matchy matchy, it doesn't look good.

DO- Coordinate!! Below are coordinating outfits that photograph beautifully together.

DON'T- Mix and match several patterns. One or two patterns is okay. Patterns and texture is okay. But don't put everyone in a patterned shirt. The photo will be too busy, and you'll clash.

DO- Dress for the season. You don't want to wear a sleeveless dress in the middle of winter, your expression will and frostbit limbs will show.

DON'T- Pick a color you hate. You'll hate your photos
